Christmas with the Gilberts

Spent the day celebrating early Christmas with Grandma and Paw Paw Gilbert yesterday in Jax. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. We love you, Mom and Dad!

Creamer Kitchen Renovation Chronicles - Week 6 is Complete!

Week 6 is complete, and tonight George and the kids and I made our first home-cooked meal in our new kitchen. We have running water, electricity, a beautiful sink, countertops and appliances! Most of the major stuff is done, and just in time for Christmas. We still have a bit to go, but at least we can function again.

Christmas Decorations 2017

Even though we're going minimalist this year, we got some new outdoor decorations this year, including a long-awaited nativity set and a nod to Bruce and Penny Gilbert, chosen by George and Danny. and put together by George Sr., George Jr., and Danny.

Family Traditions

Family traditions are the best. George and I continued one tonight with Kim Mazerac and family, rolling out peanut butter balls for dipping in chocolate. ZacharyMegan, and Danny will always remember rolling them at Grandma's house.

Look out Tallahassee Drivers!

We know it's early, but Megan just got herself a truck! It's official today, so she can learn to drive in her own truck. Thank you, Dad, for making her one happy girl! She picked out her new license plate, Stop Heart Disease, to represent her Gran-ma Creamer.

Still Christmas and a visit from Grandparents

Wow, saying life has been busy this year is a major understatement. I have not had time to update at all. But I will catch up! So we're rewinding time to December 27th. Grandma and Pawpaw Gilbert came in town to celebrate Christmas, and we really enjoyed spending some quality time with them.

We had a slow day, and Danny got to play with his new scooter, racing Harley and having a lot of fun.

They were tired out by the end of play time, but Harley was still alert and ready to chase some squirrels. Have I mentioned how much I love this dog?

It was so much fun, that everyone wanted to join the fun...and the general silliness began. Piggy-back rides were the name of the game, and while these worked,

this one did not

and this one was just ridiculous.

In all, we had a great time, and a wonderful Christmas!

Finally, the Creamer Clan's Christmas Day

It came! It finally came! On the morning of the 26th, we celebrated our Christmas. The kids were so happy, and we all got something we wanted

or needed (yes, that is a car wash kit).

After a morning of presents and pinwheels (our traditional Christmas breakfast), we set out to the movies to watch the third installation of The Hobbit. Because we had enjoyed our traditional Christmas Chinese dinner on Christmas Eve, we went out for pizza after the movie. We relaxed, we had fun, and then we got some good family pictures that night.

It was fantastic! Merry Christmas, everyone.
