Book Club PWAT night!

Our book club had our "rejected book" meeting at Painting with a Twist tonight. I love this club and I love this painting!

National Dog Day

Today is National Dog Day, and I have to take this time to say how much our dog, Harley, means to us. She is the best dog in the world!

Anniversary Trip to Thomasville

Anniversary tour of Pebble Hill Plantation. Toured the main house grounds and dairy. Gorgeous day, beautiful house, and amazing sporting art collection. It is so close, and neither of us had toured it before. So glad we did today.
















Next stop, the 1884 Paxton House Inn for a rest. Beautiful bed and breakfast in the historic district.

Happy Anniversary, George!

16 years ago today, I married a man who would become the best husband and father to my kids that I could ask for. It has been an adventure, and I can't wait to find out where life will take us next. 

1st Day of School 2015-16

Sniff, sniff. 1st day of school, 2015, and Megan and Danny are too grown up. Since they start school 2 hrs apart, I couldn't get a picture of them together (Danny was still asleep). So I decided to get the same poses, but had to take boh of Megan's inside as it was still dark outside. They were so excited about their first day of 10th and 6th grade. I am one proud momma!

More kids PWAT fun with friends!

After middle school orientation this morning (yikes! Danny is a sixth grader!), Danny and Chase spent the afternoon at Painting With a Twist. They had a great day, and they can't wait to start school!







Of course, silliness ensued after the painting was done. Can't take these kids anywhere.
