Food, Glorious Food

This weekend of food kicked off with a date night at Aprons Cooking School. Oysters, octopus, lobster and hogfish on the menu!



I was so inspired by this class, I made Lobster Ravioli with crab and tarragon vanilla butter. So delicious!



Then, frozen grapes, dark chocolate, and Grappa. Dessert and a cocktail in one shot. 



It was a foodie weekend.

Morning yard work becomes a teaching moment. My boy is growing up. 

  

What do I do when my kids are gone?

What do I do when my kids are gone? I make Pomogranate Mint Sorbet! 

And I use the very last of my vanilla beans to make one lonely bottle of vanilla extract.
