Grandma and PawPaw visit!

We had a good time this weekend. My parents visited, and we took them to San Luis. Even though it was close to closing time, we still got to see most of the buildings, and George got some great shots, including one spectacular one of a beautiful rooster.

George and Megan's Birthdays!

As I've been a little under-the-weather lately, we have kind of taken a break from activities. The biggest news from early this month was that Megan donated her hair to Locks of Love - 11 inches of it. Her new 'do is so cute. This week, though, we celebrated George and Megan's birthdays! George is 39 and Megan is 9, and they had a great week, ending with a trip to Wakulla Springs. Just look at those smiles!

Soccer season has begun!

Megan's soccer season has begun, and she's one of two girls on her team, the Mustangs. At her game last Saturday, we got some good pictures of her in action, and of Danny on the playground. I am really proud of her for sticking with soccer, and she really enjoys it. I can't wait for Danny to play next year.

Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday Weekend

What a busy weekend! I took Megan and Danny to Jax to visit Mom and Dad and Granny. The kids had a great time with Grandma and Paw Paw Gilbert, visiting Granny at the nursing home, and pretty much wore Daisy out. Plus we brought home tons of tangerines for fresh juice. Yum! We were exhausted when we got home where George was waiting with some freshly smoked meat for us! Yea! I would say the highlight if the trip was the trip to the Kings Head British Pub in St. Augustine. The entrees are good, but the best part is the Blackberry pie with custard poured over it. Heavenly, and totally worth the trip.

On Monday, the holiday, we all went to a hot dog cook-out at Mom and Dad Creamer's, and we took the kids to the elementary school around the corner to ride their bikes and play on the playground equipment (some of which George played on as a kid). Danny made his great-Papa Ward proud I'm sure when he slid down the fire pole, even though George was not excited. What is it about cops and firefighters? He did get some good pics of it, though.

Meet the newest additions

I know, I'm a little behind! But today, I'm catching up. Meet Despereax (blue Betta in the Nemo tank) and Superman (red and blue Betta in the Littlest Pet Shop tank), our newest additions from Christmas.
